Resilient Roots Support Hub

Support for you, because you’re already holding so much

You care for others, Resilient Roots is here to make space for your care too

Whether you're a parent, carer, or professional supporting children with complex emotional needs, we see the weight you carry.

We understand the unique challenges that come with caring for or working alongside children who have experienced trauma, especially in systems that are stretched, with few spaces to pause, reflect, or feel truly supported. Many people come to us feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, and unsure what to do for the best.

Whether you're navigating the daily ups and downs at home, waiting for services, holding space for others in your role, or leading a team through complex care, you don’t have to do it alone.

We believe meaningful change happens when the adults around a child feel supported, connected, and empowered. That’s why we offer trusted resources and space to pause and breathe. To help you stay grounded, so you can keep showing up with presence, clarity, and compassion.

This isn’t about adding more to your plate. It’s about doing things differently. Making room for restorative rest, reflection, and connection.

Because when you're resourced and resilient, you become a steady, powerful force in the lives of the children you care for, and for yourself.

You don’t have to do this alone. We can walk together.

Why should you choose a qualified, regulated practitioner?

In a world full of online advice and self proclaimed experts it can be hard to know who to trust, especially when you’re feeling overwhelmed and desperate for support.

As a Clinical Psychologist, I am trained to navigate and understand the complex layers of trauma, attachment, behaviour and systemic stress with clinical insight and evidence based practice. I am registered with and regulated by the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) which means I work to nationally recognised standards of safety, ethics and accountability.

When things feel fragile, you deserve support that is not only compassionate, but informed, safe and grounded.

Choosing a qualified practitioner gives you peace of mind that your wellbeing is being held with skill, integrity and care.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked at the sharp edge of family crisis, supporting those caring for children with big feelings, big behaviours and deeply painful histories. I know what it’s like to feel stuck, exhausted and unsure how to help, even when you’re giving it everything you’ve got.

That’s why I created the Resilient Roots Support Hub: A place where the people holding things together can find space to pause, restore themselves and reconnect with purpose.

Your presence matters.

You deserve care to help you keep showing up, without burning out.

Who is the Resilient Roots Hub for?

Parents, carers, guardians and professionals supporting children and young people who are struggling with;

  • Emotional distress and dysregulation

  • Anxiety

  • Aggressive, challenging or controlling behaviour

  • Withdrawn, disconnected or isolative behaviour

  • Trauma and attachment related difficulties

  • School based difficulties

Our support draws on a range of psychological models relating to trauma, attachment and neuroscience. The core ethos of Resilient Roots is grounded in Non-Violent Resistance (NVR), a therapeutic approach that transcends diagnosis and puts relationships at the heart of change.

NVR is a non-blaming, empowering model that helps the adults around a child feel confident, more connected, and less alone, without needing to do more or be perfect.

We will help you:

  • Respond to challenging behaviour with greater calm and confidence

  • Reconnect with your values and the kind of parent/carer/professional you want to be

  • Rebuild strong, connected relationship with your child

  • Set healthy boundaries and limits without escalating conflict

  • Reduce feelings of isolation, guilt, or helplessness

  • Feel more empowered and less reactive in everyday life
